New & Improved: The Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine
The CNC machine that set the standard for desktop machining is new and improved. The Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine supports 1/4” tooling, has a 28,000 RPM spindle, a 7” x 9” x 3.3” build volume, is 4th axis compatible, and is optimized for high-speed machining operations in aluminum. We’ve upgraded this powerhouse CNC’s stainless steel frame to a lightweight powder-coated steel frame. In addition to our classic machine specs, we’ve made two key improvements based on customer feedback. The Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine now comes with a deeper chip pan, increasing the machine’s swarf capacity by 75% and that means you’ll be able to run jobs for longer before you need to clean out your machine. Less time cleaning equals more machining time and that means you can iterate faster. When it comes to prototyping speed is key because you’re able to get to your final design quicker. But at Bantam Tools, we also know that while speed is crucial, precision is a must, which is why we’ve improved the machine’s Z-axis pitch. Having a higher Z-axis pitch increases holding force and accuracy.
